Ingredients

  • 1 can of Thai tuna with chili and coriander (7 oz)
  • 3.5 oz cottage cheese (10%)
  • 2 boiled potatoes
  • 2 medium-sized tortillas
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 2.5 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix tuna and cottage cheese. Peel the potatoes and mash them with a fork directly on the tortilla bread.
  2. Spread the tuna mixture on top of the potatoes and roll up.
  3. Remove the pit, peel and slice the avocado flesh.
  4. Slice the red onion. Mix together avocado, onion, and lettuce. Season with lemon, salt, and pepper.

      Notes

Thai tuna is a pre-seasoned tuna flavored with chili and coriander. Remove the whole, red chili pieces if you want to reduce the heat.

Canned fish seasoned with spices such as anchovies, tuna, and mackerel add a lot of flavor to low-fat dishes. Fat is an important flavor carrier. When you reduce the fat, the food loses flavor. Some other ingredients that give a lot of flavor and freshness are lime, lemon, and garlic.
