I am a food lover and a passionate cook who adores preparing a wide array of delicacies for my family and friends.
I also enjoy sharing everything new that I learn in the kitchen with other food enthusiasts so they can prepare some for themselves too.
One of them is microwaving hot milky chocolate. It is quite easy to prepare and can be prepared in under 5 minutes using a microwave oven.
If you want to cheer up your mood or treat yourself when you’re craving for a chocolatey drink, then a microwave hot chocolate will achieve exactly that.
It smells and tastes delicious, and is an amazing way for a chocolate lover to start their day.More so, it is relatively easier and faster to prepare as compared to a stove top (be careful using a percolator) hot chocolate.

When you are heating milk using a microwave, pot or double boiler, there are two basic risks involved: either the milk can develop the unpleasant film of proteins on its surface or the milk can scorch to the container’s bottom.
Scorched milk cannot be reused and the skin on heated milk changes the texture of milk if blended back in.
Is it okay to microwave milk? If done appropriately, then there is nothing to worry about at all.
However, milk is such a delicate product and it has to be treated with care.
Stir it as often as possible to prevent boiling over or scorching, and use it all when it has been warmed.
Warmed milk should not be rechilled because the risk of bacterial contamination is high at this point.
Otherwise, hot chocolate is a super delicious, rich and easy to prepare beverage.
Just keep in mind that when you microwave anything, the contents inside the container could be much hotter than the container, and vice versa.
