Dark chocolate & blackberry smores Recipe
Here is the step-by-step guide you should follow while making dark chocolate & blackberry smores.
Step 1
The first step is to break the graham cracker sheets into two pieces or halves. Then, place half of the squares on a tray and top each with a square of dark chocolate.
Step 2
Put your blackberries in a bowl and use a fork to mash the berries lightly. Then scoop about a tablespoon of the mashed berries and place on top of each piece of chocolate.
Step 3
Next, place the marshmallow on the end of a long skewer or marshmallow stick and toast over an open flame.
In my case, I used a gas stove, but you can also use a fire pit, campfire, or grill. Toast it for 30 to 60 seconds while frequently turning until it is toasted to your desired level.
Step 4
Then, carefully slide the toasted marshmallow onto the chocolate.
Step 5
Lastly, place the blackberries on the marshmallow, cover with the second graham cracker, and press.
Step 6
Your Dark chocolate & blackberry smores are now ready. Serve and enjoy!
A Note
If you do not have access to an open flame, you can prepare your smores indoors by broiling them.
To do so, you will have t set the graham crackers on a baking sheet. Then, you put the black chocolate, blackberries, and marshmallows on top.
Then you broil for bout 3 minutes until the marshmallows are roasted to your liking. Lastly, you top smores with the remaining graham crackers and serve.
Conclusion
The combination of dark chocolate and fresh blackberries are so much smores than you could have asked for.
